Admittedly I played one hand obviously bad. (FFS if you repeat that to me after admitting it, I may swing for you.) The nasty re-raise with the 66. Of course this was mistake, and without a doubt a skalie moment.
In my defence (not that i should need to give one, but I feel obliged, due to the support) it was the only hand he could call with. I am a cock for not spotting it earlier and vanity played a part.
However I had a good stack left and cannot honestly say one way or the other whether it was coolers or bad play that saw the rest go. I wish I knew. If i knew I had played badly I could do something about it.
I always say I would rather play my chips off that take badbeats.
WHY?
Because you learn nothing from badbeats. If you fuck up at least you learn summut. You may do it again, but generally less often. Just learn, eventually the shit kicks in.
I wish I had some bad beat stories to tell but the fact is;
1) I was not playing as well as I can
2) sometimes its the way it goes.
